Finds shifts affected by staff leave and lines up replacement workers.
Overview
For staff leave, find the shifts that person still has and arrange cover.
It shows you what it plans to change and waits for a clear yes before saving anything. It works through the Imploy MCP connection, so it only sees what your Imploy role can access.

What it does
- Finds approved or pending leave that still has shifts assigned.
- Lists the affected shifts for each person.
- Suggests three replacement workers for each shift, or the shift pool.
- Reassigns shifts once you confirm and checks for new SCHADS warnings.

How to install
- Connect the Imploy MCP server to your AI app and sign in to your Imploy organisation. Ask your assistant to run whoami to check it can see the right organisation.
- Download imploy-leave-cover.zip.
- Claude: go to Settings, then Capabilities, turn on Skills and upload the zip. In a Claude Project, paste the contents of SKILL.md into the project instructions instead. In Claude Code, copy the folder into ~/.claude/skills/.
- ChatGPT: in a custom GPT or a Project, paste the contents of SKILL.md into the instructions and connect the Imploy MCP server.
- Other MCP clients such as Cursor or Windsurf: add the contents of SKILL.md to your custom instructions or rules file.
